We are pleased to announce the publication of the first online article in the new THRI-CEGREG Joint Publications series\u2014a collaborative initiative between <\/em><\/strong>The Hague Research Institute for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus & Central Asia <\/em><\/strong><\/a>(THRI) and the<\/em><\/strong> Center for Global and Regional Governance (CEGREG)<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, a newly established research center at ISE of Maqsut Narikbayev University. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This series is designed to serve as an inclusive platform for sharing evidence-based insights and scholarly analyses that bring Central Asian perspectives into global conversations on governance. By uniting the expertise of CEGREG and THRI, the series underscores our shared commitment to amplifying regional voices and examining pressing geopolitical and socio-economic trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forthcoming publications will delve into a range of timely topics including international sanctions and strategic trade control, critical minerals governance, Chinese perspectives on the EU\u2019s presence in Central Asia, and other themes that resonate with both CEGREG\u2019s and THRI\u2019s research missions. Later this year, we will be excited to host an online panel that will bring together researchers from Maqsut Narikbayev University and our colleagues in the Netherlands, further enriching the dialogue sparked by these publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
