Exactly 30 years ago, the people of Kazakhstan, through a nationwide referendum, adopted their Constitution. This fundamental law serves as a guarantor of the rights and freedoms of every citizen, a strong foundation for our statehood, and ensures the stable development of the republic. The Constitution is the bedrock of national unity and the country’s independence, fostering the well-being of its citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholars from Maqsut Narikbayev University made a significant contribution to the drafting of key provisions of the Constitution. In anticipation of this special day, several professors have been honored with state awards<\/a><\/strong>. Additionally, the university actively supports the Institute for Constitutional and Political Studies, which conducts both fundamental and applied research aimed at advancing and implementing constitutional reforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
