Maqsut Narikbayev University has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting talented youth by providing access to high-quality and affordable education. This summer, the university held internal grant competitions.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the key events was the nationwide Maqsut Narikbayev Scholarship Olympiad<\/strong> for applicants to bachelor and master\u2019s programmes. Participants were required to write a motivation letter, submit a written work in the form of an abstract, and defend a research project on one of the topics relevant to their chosen academic programme. More than 12,000 applicants<\/strong> took part in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am one of the winners of the Maqsut Narikbayev Scholarship Olympiad and a grant holder. The most challenging stage for me was the second round \u2014 preparing the abstract of the research paper. It was difficult to write a quality paper within such a short timeframe. The final stage was easier, as I had already won prizes at international competitions. I chose MNU because of its strong graduate employability rate. I also appreciate the opportunity to design my own class schedule and the responsiveness of the staff. The university atmosphere reminds me of a lively city, where everyone is pursuing their own goals but there is always energy and activity everywhere,\u201d<\/em> said Timur Nasipkali<\/strong>, a first-year MNU student.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The university also organised an Olympiad for graduates of BIL and NIS schools and implemented a number of partnership grant programmes with educational centres such as Samga, GeOnline, Unidem, and JUZ40 Online. MNU has awarded a grant to Nuray Nurtaza, the winner of the nationwide intellectual game Leader of the 21st Century<\/a>. In addition, the university allocated grants for international applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI come from Indonesia and I received a full tuition grant at MNU. What attracted me most was the opportunity to study abroad in Kazakhstan, a country known for its multiculturalism. I had always dreamed of studying a foreign language in an international environment, and when I learned about MNU\u2019s opportunities, including dual-degree programmes and academic mobility, I knew it was the right choice. I appreciate high academic standards and open and welcoming environment of MNU. From the very first day, I have already made friends, and I plan to join a student organisation involved in international projects and cultural exchange,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0said Syurga Adn<\/strong>, a first-year MNU student.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
