Description:\u00a0This project aims to explore the development of research capacity in pedagogical education in Kazakhstan. The project aims to explore the role of undergraduate and graduate research methods courses in developing the research capacity of future teachers in educational research methodology. In particular, the project focuses on developing an understanding of how research methods courses are developed in pedagogy at universities in Kazakhstan, what challenges faculty face in teaching research methods courses and how they cope with these challenges, and how undergraduate and graduate students in pedagogy assess the relevance of research methods courses for their future academic and professional careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
