The Council was formed in accordance with an order issued by the Chair of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The Dissertation Council is a collegial body responsible for conducting the defense of doctoral dissertations and submitting recommendations to the relevant committee of the \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0444\u0438\u043b\u044c ministry for the awarding of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. The term of operation of the Dissertation Council for the defense of dissertations for the PhD degree in the fields of \u201cEconomics\u201d and \u201cBusiness and Management\u201d is three years. The Council is chaired by <strong>Saule Kemelbayeva<\/strong>, PhD, Dean of the International School of Economics.
