Maqsut Narikbayev University will cooperate with one of Kazakhstan\u2019s leading educational institutions. The university has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Republican Physics and Mathematics School.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement was signed during the visit of the school\u2019s delegation to MNU. During a meeting with the university\u2019s leadership, the parties discussed the development of educational programs and the implementation of joint projects in the field of IT. Special attention was given to creating additional academic pathways and expanding opportunities for talented school students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sergey Pen<\/strong>, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Science, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence at MNU, spoke about the planned launch of a new AI+X major. The program will allow students to study IT disciplines in depth during the first two years, and then choose another academic track within the university for the remaining two years. Ruslan Kaliyev<\/strong>, Chairman of the Management Board of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School, proposed that the university consider allocating special educational grants for the school\u2019s graduates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Republican Physics and Mathematics School is one of Kazakhstan\u2019s leading educational institutions and has, for more than half a century, successfully identified and nurtured gifted students in mathematics, physics, and computer science. Its graduates achieve outstanding results in national academic competitions and gain admission to top universities. Currently, the school operates in the cities of Astana, Almaty, and Uralsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing the partnership. In addition, the delegation of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School toured MNU\u2019s infrastructure and gave it high praise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
