On December 8, the International School of Economics hosted a research seminar where students presented the outcomes of their academic work.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar opened with a presentation on \u201cEmpirical Analysis of Perceived Gender Discrimination: Evidence from Kazakhstan,\u201d delivered by Iliyas Kazbek and Diana Mukhambetzhan. Their study constitutes a rigorous empirical investigation that contributes meaningfully to the understanding of social dynamics within the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following this, the team of Yulia Zarapina, Anzhelika Dzyuba, and Nuraisha Zholan presented their research on \u201cUrbanization Growth Modelling in Astana City Using Logistic Regression.\u201d The work focused on developing a predictive model for the spatial development of the capital using logistic regression analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both presentations demonstrated a high level of analytical rigor and generated considerable interest and engagement from the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also featured the announcement of the \u201cMath Case\u201d competition winners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
