Experts exchanged views on improving and revising legislation in light of the digital economy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The discussion focused on implementing the Head of State\u2019s initiative to adopt a new Civil Code, announced earlier this week in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by members of the Kurultai delegation led by Deputy Speaker <strong>Nurlan Beknazarov<\/strong>, MNU Board Chair <strong>Talgat Narikbayev<\/strong>, the university\u2019s legal scholars, Vice Minister of Justice <strong>Botagoz Zhakselikova<\/strong>, Deputy Chairman of the Adilet Party <strong>Nursultan Baitilesov<\/strong>, as well as experts and journalists. The roundtable was organised jointly with the Kurultai and the Adilet Party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The event served as an important professional platform bringing together representatives of government bodies, academia and the expert community. Participants emphasised the strategic importance of adopting a new Civil Code, which would help strengthen the country&#8217;s legal sovereignty and ensure sustainable economic growth. MNU professors also delivered substantive presentations as part of the discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1
