Position Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To ensure high-quality delivery of the Fundamentals of Law<\/em> course, develop students\u2019 foundational knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, enhance legal literacy, and foster the ability to apply legal principles in professional practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Deliver lectures, practical classes, and seminars in Fundamentals of Law<\/em>; Develop and update teaching and learning materials, including:\n
      \n
    • syllabus;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • assignments;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • assessment criteria;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • presentation materials;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Prepare and conduct ongoing, midterm, and final assessments of students\u2019 knowledge; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Work within the Canvas learning management system; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Provide academic consultation and support to students; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ensure compliance with the principles of academic integrity; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Participate in the university\u2019s research, methodological, and organisational activities; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Participate in conferences, seminars, and other academic events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
      \n\n\n\n

      Candidate Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Education<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Higher education in Law; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Work Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • At least 2\u20133 years of experience teaching legal disciplines in higher education; or<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Practical professional experience in the legal field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Professional Competencies<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Skills in analysing legal cases; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Ability to interpret legislation within the context of the media industry; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Proficiency in modern teaching methods and e-learning technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Software Skills<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Experience working with the Canvas learning management system; <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Experience using legal databases and information systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              Language Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • Fluency in Kazakh and Russian.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
