A dialogue platform bringing together future legal professionals and representatives of the highest body of constitutional review was organized at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students and master’s students of Maqsut Narikbayev University delivered presentations during the event.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views with Constitutional Court Judge Sergey Udartsev, as well as heads of departments. Students and master’s students presented reports covering issues such as the principle of separation of powers in the Constitution, the constitutional recognition of the institution of marriage, protection of human dignity, and the role of constitutional review bodies in legitimizing digital transformation. Presentations were also delivered on citizens’ rights to a favorable environment, constitutional and legal guarantees of the inviolability of the home, changes in the priority of international treaties within the Constitution, and the protection of personal data and privacy in the digital age.
It should be noted that the dialogue platform aims to strengthen future lawyers’ practical knowledge of constitutional justice and the rule of law.
