A meeting was held at Maqsut Narikbayev University between the university’s leadership and representatives of the South China University of Technology. The parties discussed promising areas of academic and scientific cooperation.
The negotiations primarily focused on developing academic mobility opportunities for students and faculty members. The parties also discussed the possibility of launching a joint double degree program. Representatives of both universities confirmed their mutual interest in establishing a long-term partnership, expanding international collaboration, and implementing joint educational and research projects.
It is worth noting that the South China University of Technology is one of China’s leading universities, offering educational programs in the fields of natural sciences and engineering. The university was founded in 1952 in Guangzhou. Today, it ranks among the TOP-30 universities in China and is included in the TOP-500 universities in the world.
Earlier, MNU also signed a memorandum of cooperation with Lanzhou University.
