The new academic year has begun at Maqsut Narikbayev University. On Knowledge Day, classes for the fall semester commenced.
This year, MNU welcomed more than 2,500 students to its bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, MBA and DBA programs. Among them are 91 international students from Azerbaijan, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. Around 43% of the new students are recipients of state or internal educational grants.
MNU offers 28 educational programs. The International School of Economics welcomed the largest number of students, with 918 students enrolled. In addition, 68 students chose the new Artificial Intelligence and Frontier Systems: AI + X educational program.
Preparation for the new academic year was carried out intensively. The university’s faculty members reviewed the course structures, with a focus on strengthening the fundamental component of the curriculum.
