Head of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque Center Visits MNU

Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU) welcomed Yusuf Abdullah Alobaidli, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque Center. During his visit, he met with the University’s leadership and delivered a lecture to students.

During the visit, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, highlighting the strong level of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates. Yusuf Abdullah Alobaidli learned more about MNU’s activities, as well as the work of the University’s Center for Islamic and Kazakh Law. Particular attention was paid to the importance of cultural dialogue and the exchange of experience between the two countries.

Speaking to students, Yusuf Abdullah Alobaidli spoke about the history of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and its role in the cultural life of the UAE. He noted that the mosque is an architectural masterpiece that brings together the traditions of Islamic art and modern approaches to intercultural dialogue. According to him, one of the largest mosques in the world serves not only as a significant architectural landmark, but also as a space for learning about cultural traditions, fostering dialogue, and promoting interaction among people from different countries.

At the end of his visit, Yusuf Abdullah Alobaidli also visited the classroom named after the founder of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
