MNU wins the national ‘Заңғар заңгер’ competition

The Maqsut Narikbayev University team took first place in the national intellectual competition ‘Заңғар заңгер’. The competition was organised with the support of the Language Policy Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the Concept for the Development of Language Policy for 2023–2029. Teams from universities representing almost all regions of Kazakhstan participated.

MNU was represented by third-year Law students Aidarbek Yerkanat, Yertai Gulnaz, Yerzhankyzy Azhar, Kumar Yelnaz and Bakyt Balgynbek. The team was prepared by Kudiyarova Ulbala Yerzatovna, Tatebayeva Guldauren Sattygulkyzy and Yakupova Laura Kaisarkyzy.

The stated result is first place. The competition aims to develop future lawyers’ professional competencies in Kazakh, improve legal literacy and expand the use of Kazakh in the legal sphere. This educational purpose is linked to SDG 4, Quality Education.
