Maqsut Narikbayev University welcomed H.E. Jeong Ki-hon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Kazakhstan, who delivered a guest lecture to students.
During the lecture, Jeong Ki-hon spoke about Korea’s history, culture, traditions and modern economic achievements. Particular attention was given to Kazakh-Korean relations, which are rooted in historical ties and mutual support between the two nations. The Ambassador also discussed the development of artificial intelligence in Korea and its role in modernising the economy and various areas of public life.
“It was a great pleasure for me to meet the students in person and have such an interactive discussion with them. They are very smart, and I particularly enjoyed their questions. I consider MNU a very modern and well-equipped university. I hope we will have the opportunity to meet again,” Jeong Ki-hon emphasised.
MNU continues to expand its partnerships with Korean educational institutions. A month ago, the University launched a dual-degree programme with Seoul Cyber University, signed an agreement with Seoul National University School of Law, and reached agreements with Incheon National University.
