Nygmetzhan Kuzenbayev, Associate Professor at ISE, and Bakhyt Tolegenov, Assistant Professor at ISE, took part in a round table discussion titled “Economic Governance to Meet New Demands: Further Democratization of Society and Consistent Implementation of the Principles of Just Kazakhstan.”
The event brought together members of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament, representatives of the expert community, business, and non-governmental organizations. Discussions focused on the priorities outlined in President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s latest State-of-the-Nation Address.
During the round table, key issues were discussed:
- economic development pathways and reducing the budget deficit;
- further improvement of the healthcare system;
- regulation and prospects of artificial intelligence integration;
- upbringing, culture, and patriotism as the foundation for Kazakhstan’s future generation.
The discussions emphasized that economic strengthening and societal democratization depend on systemic reforms across education, healthcare, and digital sectors.
For our faculty, participation offered both a platform to gain insights from parliamentarians and experts and an opportunity to share perspectives on putting strategic initiatives into practice.
We value the opportunity to contribute to discussions shaping the country’s development strategy.
