MNU, the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan and EU member states France, Germany and Lithuania held the third annual media forum on digital presence and information manipulation in the AI era. More than 100 journalists, fact-checkers, media representatives, civil society participants and journalism students from Central Asia attended. EU Ambassador Aleška Simkić and EU Special Representative for Central Asia Eduards Stiprais addressed responsible digital transformation and trustworthy information. Workshops examined AI-driven disinformation with Jakub Śliż, journalistic resilience with Aleksandra Wrona, deepfakes with Maria Pawelec and information security with Artyom Tarasov. The programme combined regional dialogue and practical work on information integrity.
