The new academic year marks the start of a new cycle of the “Applied Diplomacy” lecture series at Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU). Recently, MNU hosted Nico Schermers, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kazakhstan.
Ambassador Schermers shared insights on the Netherlands economy, water management, Kazakhstan’s development, and the strong bilateral relations between the two nations, particularly in education. He also shared valuable personal diplomatic experiences.
As a symbol of the strong ties and partnership between MNU and the Dutch Embassy, Ambassador Schermers was also presented with the prestigious Order of “DOSTYQ” This year, we are excited to congratulate our close partners who have received this award.
