MNU Expands Partnerships with Leading South Korean Universities

Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU) is expanding its partnerships with leading higher education institutions in the Republic of Korea. The University plans to develop joint programmes with Incheon National University (INU).

Potential areas of cooperation were discussed during a visit by MNU’s leadership to Incheon National University. MNU Board Chair Talgat Narikbayev met with INU President Lee In-jae. The parties discussed the development of academic mobility programmes and plans to launch dual-degree programmes in linguistics, business, and artificial intelligence.

During the visit, Talgat Narikbayev explored the Korean university’s facilities, as well as its learning and accommodation conditions for international students. He also met with MNU student Erkezhan Nazarbekova, who is currently studying at Incheon National University as part of an academic mobility programme. The partnership between the two universities is based on a memorandum signed last year.

Based in Incheon, INU is ranked among the Top 50 universities in the Republic of Korea. The university offers more than 100 academic programmes and is recognised for its strong programmes in economics, international trade, IT, and natural sciences. INU has around 17,000 students from more than 50 countries.

Earlier, MNU also signed agreements with the School of Law of Seoul National University and Seoul Cyber University.
