The educational programmes of the Maqsut Narikbayev University’s International School of Economics have been re-accredited by a prestigious global association. The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has extended the accreditation of MNU’s Bachelor’s degree programmes in Accounting and Finance until 2029.
ACCA is a global professional association that unites finance and accounting specialists worldwide. Over 8,500 companies that uphold high standards in financial education and professional development have earned the status of accredited employers under ACCA. For MNU, this accreditation reaffirms the high quality of its educational programmes and their compliance with rigorous international standards.
‘This accreditation ensures that our programmes cover most of the ACCA professional certification—one of the most prestigious qualifications in accounting and finance, which consists of 13 exams. Additionally, we have secured exemptions for our top graduates from nine of these exams—the maximum possible for MNU. This means they will need to pass only four professional-level exams to obtain ACCA membership‘, noted Dean of the International School of Economics at MNU, Saule Kemelbayeva.
Beyond ACCA, the MNU International School of Economics holds accreditation from the German FIBAA Accreditation Agency and is recognised by leading global professional organizations, including CIMA, ICAEW, CFA Institute, aPHRi, and GARP. The School currently offers seven undergraduate programmes, two master’s programmes, and prepares future PhD students in Economics.
Furthermore, in the latest ranking of educational programmes by the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, MNU’s Management and Economics and Data Science programmes secured the top position among all universities in the country.
