In Canvas LMS, the instructor is required to: – upload the electronic course (syllabus), including the expected learning outcomes, assessment criteria, distribution of grading weights for assignments, and other relevant information; – upload learning materials, including preparatory reading materials for the corresponding class or topic; – review and evaluate student submissions, including through the plagiarism detection system; – maintain records of academic performance and attendance; – and communicate with students through the platform, and so on.; - the student gets access to the syllabus, educational materials, looks through the academic records, calendar and other materials, communicate with the instructor, submits completed work, etc.
