Visit Shymkent Guest Lecture: Developing Professional Skills and Strengthening Tourism Industry Collaboration.
On 6 February, a guest lecture was organised for students of the Tourism and Hospitality educational programme, featuring representatives of Visit Shymkent, a professional tour guide, tourism industry experts, and travel bloggers.
The session provided students with an opportunity to learn from industry professionals, explore Shymkent’s tourist attractions, and gain insights into contemporary approaches to promoting tourism destinations.As part of the event, an agreement on organising student internships and a memorandum of cooperation with Visit Shymkent were signed. These agreements aim to strengthen collaboration between the university and the tourism industry while expanding opportunities for students to gain practical experience and support their professional development.
