Anne Quintin will give a guest lecture on contemporary challenges in international humanitarian law

On 8 October 2025 at 14:30, Maqsut Narikbayev University will host a guest lecture by Dr Anne Quintin, Head of the Global Initiative at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), on ‘Contemporary Challenges in International Humanitarian Law’.

The announced discussion concerns current conflicts and the protection of humanitarian principles. The lecture is linked to SDG 4, Quality Education, through engagement with an international humanitarian law expert and discussion of its contemporary application.
