Fourth-year students demonstrate AI applications in journalism

Fourth-year ISJ students presented semester projects for the AI in Journalism course at MNU. Their work used ChatGPT, Perplexity, HeyGen, Google AI and CapCut AI for analysing information, editing and optimising journalistic materials, producing visual designs and covers, and creating video reports with AI avatars and prompting techniques. The course combines theory on AI, ethics and its effects on journalism with practical laboratory work. Talgat Narikbayev, Sergey Pen, Anar Ibrayeva and Aigul Zhamalova attended the showcase and reviewed the projects.
