Yesterday, a group of ISE students had the incredible opportunity to attend the “Ring The Bell for Gender Equality” ceremony at AIX. This international initiative aims to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in business. The event brought together successful women from the boards of Kazakhstan’s largest companies, as well as students from NU and MNU—future leaders in the corporate world.
During the panel discussion, speakers addressed key questions such as:
🔹 What qualities help women build careers in top management?
🔹 What initiatives support the advancement of women in the corporate world?
🔹 How does the financial sector support female entrepreneurs?
Esteemed speakers included Lyazzat Ibragimova, Chairperson of Otbasy Bank, Sholpan Ainabayeva, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of SkyBridge Invest, Dina Amrisheva, Acting Head of the UN Women Office in Kazakhstan, Malika Karadzhanova, Independent Director of BI Development, and Assel Mukazhanova, Chairperson of the AIX Management Board.
Our students gained valuable insights from these inspiring women, learning about challenges and opportunities in leadership, finance, and entrepreneurship. The event concluded with the ceremonial market opening, symbolizing a commitment to gender equality and the empowerment of women in business.
