The lecture by “CIPS and Renminbi Internationalization”by Dr. Felix Chang. is co-organized by our school and American Councils for International Education and held as part of the U.S.-Central Asia Research Network Program (U.S.-CARNet).

Dr. Felix Chang is a Professor of Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a Visiting Professor at Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He writes primarily on antitrust, financial regulation, and trusts & estates. Professor Chang received his BA from Yale and his JD from Michigan.
Synopsis:
In this lecture, Professor Chang will explore the antitrust and financial implications of the Cross-Border Interbank Payment System (CIPS), a currency settlement system that has been instrumental in facilitating the internationalization of China’s renminbi.
