On 23 April 2025, the MNU Institute of Constitutional and Political Studies and the Office of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly held STUDY DIALOGUE. Undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students discussed the Constitution’s role as the Basic Law and the Constitutional Court’s protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms with Court judges and experts.
The event took place within the National Plan for the Constitution’s 30th anniversary. Constitutional Court Judge Sergey Fyodorovich Udartsev emphasised the importance of students’ creative proposals. Elmira Kaliyeva, Head of the Department of Analytics and Constitutional Proceedings, highlighted the need to develop student research.
The initiative of MNU’s Scientific School of Constitutional Law received support from Constitutional Court Chair Elvira Abilkhasimovna, MNU Chairman Talgat Maksutovich, Provost Sergey Gennadyevich and Law School Director Olga Sergeyevna. The meeting provided direct dialogue between students and constitutional justice practitioners.
