A delegation from Seoul Cyber University (SCU), South Korea, visited Maqsut Narikbayev University. Representatives of the partner university met with MNU leadership and students.
During a meeting with students, SCU professors highlighted the benefits of the joint educational programme Artificial Intelligence and Frontier Systems: AI + X and the opportunities it offers to students. The meeting provided an opportunity to learn more about the partner university, discuss academic prospects and exchange ideas on the further development of the programme. Addressing the students, SCU Honorary Rector Ho Myung-young emphasised the special significance of the first cohort of Kazakhstani students enrolled through the partnership with MNU.
“You are the first students from Kazakhstan to join our programme in cooperation with MNU. This is our first experience of such collaboration, so we have high expectations for you. I am confident that in four years you will successfully complete your studies and become a source of pride for us. I wish you an interesting and rewarding academic journey,” Ho Myung-young said.
The SCU delegation also held talks with MNU leadership. The parties discussed future prospects for cooperation, the implementation of joint initiatives and opportunities to further enhance the educational programme. The joint programme in artificial intelligence, developed in partnership with a leading Korean university in digital education, was launched this year.
It is worth noting that graduates of the AI + X programme receive diplomas from both MNU and SCU.
