MNU students again among the prize winners of the International Olympiad on Financial security

Students of Maqsut Narikbayev University took part in the VI International Olympiad on Financial Security, becoming prize winners of this major competition.

The Olympiad was held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, and brought together around 700 participants from more than 45 countries. Students competed in areas related to economic crimes, money laundering, terrorist financing, and information security. The Kazakhstan national team consisted of ten winners of the National Olympiad on Financial Security, which was hosted at MNU this year.

Following the competition, Kazakhstan secured two first-place finishes and five other podium places. In the Law category, Togzhan Iliyassova, a student of the MNU Higher School of Law, received an award, while Nikita Piltsov, a student of the MNU International School of Economics, was among the prize winners in the Economics category. The performance of the Kazakhstan national team was supported by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring.

It should be noted that last year, MNU students became runners-up at the V International Olympiad on Financial Security.
