Olga Bektibayeva Appointed Vice Chair of the MNU Management Board

Olga Bektibayeva has been appointed Vice Chair of the Management Board of Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU). In her new role, she will oversee the implementation of the University’s Development Strategy and the HR function.

Olga Bektibayeva graduated with honors from Maqsut Narikbayev University with bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in Law. She holds a PhD in Law. She has been working at the University since 2009.

Olga Bektibayeva began her career at the University as a leading specialist in the Legal Support Department. She subsequently served as a chief specialist in the Department, headed the Legal Support of Commercial Projects Department, and worked as a research fellow and senior research fellow at the Research Institute of Criminal Procedure Studies and Anti-Corruption. She also served as Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure Law and Criminalistics at the School of Law and Deputy Dean of the School of Law. Since December 30, 2019, she has served as Dean of the Law School.

Olga Bektibayeva speaks Kazakh, Russian, English, and French. She is the author of more than 30 academic publications in the fields of law and legislation and has served as a member of several working groups on draft legislation under the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She is also a recipient of the “For Contribution to the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan” departmental badge.
