The “Tourism” and “Hospitality” programs hosted the TRAVEL Hack hackathon together with JSC “NC ‘Kazakh Tourism’.” Teams developed solutions for regional tourism development, customer service, and sustainable infrastructure. Industry mentors advised on business models and validated hypotheses. SDG contribution: entrepreneurship skills (SDG 8), support for innovation (SDG 9), focus on sustainable cities and routes (SDG 11), and partnerships (SDG 17). Outcomes: prototypes and implementation roadmaps were produced. Next steps: presentations to partners and arranging internships for the best teams.
