MNU Graduates Earn Distinction with Successful CFA Exam Results

Maqsut Narikbayev University’s educational programs have once again confirmed their alignment with international standards. In this regard, we are thrilled to share the outstanding news that our MSc in Finance student, Yerbol Darzhanov, and two recent graduates of the BBA in Finance program, Assiya Kenzhetayeva and Aigerim Tursynbek, have successfully passed the CFA® Level I exam on their first attempt.

Their results are a strong testament to the effectiveness of our undergraduate and graduate curricula. The BBA in Finance and MSc in Finance programs at MNU are proud to be part of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. This affiliation recognizes that our programs cover at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge® (CBOK®), with a strong emphasis on the CFA Institute’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

The BBA program is aligned with Level I of the CFA Program, while the MSc program is designed to support students preparing for Levels II and III. These programs equip our students with a solid foundation for pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation—one of the most respected and globally recognized credentials in the investment profession.

Of particular note is the CFA Program scholarship opportunity, which allowed our students to sit for the exam at a significantly reduced cost. Yerbol and our alumni were selected for this scholarship based on their strong academic performance and commitment to the profession.
