A guest lecture by Aidarbek Khojanazarov, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held at Maqsut Narikbayev University as part of the Tabys Syry project.
During the session, the speaker shared insights into his personal journey, his early ventures in business, and his transition into politics. Conducted in an open and informal format, the meeting allowed students to pose pertinent questions and receive thoughtful responses.
“The campus infrastructure is truly impressive — from the libraries to the lecture halls, the facilities are of a high standard. Moreover, the academic expectations placed on students are clearly substantial, as their level of engagement allows them to converse and debate with a professor like myself on equal footing. At times, I even find myself pleasantly surprised when refining my arguments in response to theirs,” Aidarbek Khojanazarov remarked.
It is worth noting that the Tabys Syry project is organised by the International School of Economics with the aim of promoting the use of the Kazakh language in official contexts.
