Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU) is expanding cooperation with leading Indonesian universities. MNU signed a memorandum with Airlangga University (UNAIR).
The agreements were reached during a visit to MNU by a delegation from Airlangga University, led by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Indonesia to Kazakhstan, Mohamad Fadjroel Rachman. The parties agreed to develop joint initiatives in the academic and scientific fields. The memorandum was signed by Sergey Pen, Vice Chairman of the MNU Board for Science, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence, and Muhammad Madyan, Rector of UNAIR.
During the visit, the parties also discussed joint initiatives in legal education, research activities and academic exchange. UNAIR is considered one of Indonesia’s leading universities in the fields of arts, humanities, engineering, technology, medical and biological sciences, management and social sciences. In addition, the university is ranked among the top 300 in the QS World University Rankings.
Previously, MNU signed agreements with Bali State Polytechnic Institute, Alma-Ata University and Sunan Ampel Surabaya State Islamic University.
