Academic Mobility: Additional Places Available for Students

Maqsut Narikbayev University announces the availability of additional places in the Academic Mobility Programme for the spring semester of the 2026–2027 academic year on a self-funded basis.

Bachelor’s students who have completed at least 60 ECTS credits, as well as Master’s and Doctoral students, are eligible to participate in the competition.

Eligibility Criteria:

• GPA – minimum 2.5;

• English language proficiency – minimum B2.

Application deadline: November 6, 2026

The application and all required documents must be submitted via the web version of Smart MNU.

Required documents:

•   Student application form (download);

•   Scanned copy of the international passport;

•   Transcript of academic records for the current academic year (in Russian and English);

•   International certificate confirming foreign language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, Duolingo). Country requiring mandatory IELTS/TOEFL: Belgium

•   Completed application form according to the prescribed format (download);

•   Written consent of the parents (guardians, legal representatives) of the applicant to study abroad within the framework of academic mobility (download);

•   Recommendation letters in Kazakh, Russian, or English (if available);

•   Copies of certificates of merit, certificates, and diplomas in the selected field of study, obtained for participation in national or international-level events (if available);

•   Copies of documents confirming the applicant’s status in the following categories (if applicable):

—   family composition certificate confirming a large family status;

—   a document confirming the absence of parents (for orphans and students left without parental care);

—   a document confirming the student’s disability.

In addition, please review the list of partner universities and courses in advance and coordinate your selected courses with your academic advisor in accordance with your study program.
