Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) programme in Management is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of management, equipping them with the skills necessary to succeed in both international and local businesses.

Upon completion of this programme, graduates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of management theories, proficiency in analysis and decision-making skills, a clear understanding of a company’s strategic and operational practices, and the manager’s role in these aspects.

Learning outcomes:

  • Demonstrate presentation skills, leadership, effective teamwork, orientation to result and negotiation skills;
  • Understand and be able to articulate key basic concepts of economics, finance, accounting, management and marketing for subject-specific problem solving;
  • Analyze various business challenges and develop relevant practical recommendations and actions;
  • Demonstrate intermediate IT skills;
  • Understand and follow principles of business ethics;
  • Demonstrate awareness of the economic and business environment within both global and national contexts;

The programme offers students the opportunity to choose one of three specialisations, providing a full set of competencies:

Specialisation Human Resource Management focuses on employee selection, training and development, managerial potential, business relations, reward systems, organisational behaviour, conflict management, stress management and labour law.

Specialisation Entrepreneurship and Innovation provides the necessary theoretical and practical skills for creating startups and implementing innovation in business. Students study the fundamentals of business formation, operation and development, as well as the processes of developing, launching to market and commercialising new products.

Specialisation Supply Chain and Industrial Management focuses on modern logistics operations, production management and supply chain systems. Students gain knowledge of core logistics and production concepts, engineering solutions, methods for improving production efficiency, and value creation for businesses. Special emphasis is placed on analysing real business cases and developing strategic thinking skills in supply chain management.

Double Degree Programme

Students of ISE have the opportunity to obtain both an MNU degree and a degree from a partner university within 4 years of undergraduate study.

 

Participation requirements:

  • successful completion of a required number of credits at Maqsut Narikbayev University;
  • GPA minimum 3.0;
  • English language level minimum B2.

 

Programme conditions:

  • study at MNU and a partner university according to a jointly developed curriculum and with the agreed study model (1+3; 3+1; 2+2);
  • students take entrance examinations in accordance with MNU admission rules;
  • full-time study;
  • graduates of the programme receive two state diplomas: an MNU diploma and a diploma from the foreign partner university.
