On June 19, the students of the «Theories of International Relations» course at the International School of Economics had the privilege of attending a guest lecture by Robin Leterrier, a PhD candidate at Paris 8 University and a researcher at GEODE (Geopolitics of Data Sphere) of French Institute of Geopolitics (IFG).
The lecture provided insights into the major methods used by French IR and geopolitical scholars to study international relations.
Robin Leterrier shared his expertise on the methodologies employed by French scholars, emphasizing the unique perspectives and analytical frameworks that define French geopolitical studies. Robin Leterrier is currently a visiting researcher at Maqsut Narikbayev University. His research stay is part of an ongoing cooperation agreement between Maqsut Narikbayev University and Paris 8 University, aimed at fostering academic exchange and enriching the educational experience of our students. The event was a testament to the productive partnership and a valuable contribution to strengthening our cooperation. We extend our sincere gratitude to Robin Leterrier for his engaging and informative lecture, and for enhancing the academic discourse at our institution.
