Maqsut Narikbayev University has launched a new educational program, “Management in Tourism and Hospitality.” Applications for admission are open until August 25, 2026.
The bachelor’s degree program is offered by the School of Liberal Arts at MNU. The program is fully aligned with current market demands and industry standards. Students will gain management knowledge and develop practical skills in applying digital technologies, analytical tools, and artificial intelligence in business.
The curriculum covers modern business models, strategic management, marketing, finance, and customer experience management. Particular attention is given to the use of AI, service automation, data analysis, demand forecasting, and service personalization. Graduates will be able to analyze markets, develop business plans, launch their own projects, and manage their financial performance.
The program is based on a practice-oriented approach to learning. Students will work on applied business cases and startup initiatives, as well as undertake professional internships at leading local and international companies. To further develop their practical skills, students will also have access to MNU Travel, a travel agency focused on promoting domestic tourism.
Students will also be able to create an individual study plan and pursue two additional minors. Available areas include startup management, AI in tourism, sustainable tourism, and hotel and restaurant business management. In addition, students will have the opportunity to study a second foreign language in depth, choosing from Chinese, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, French, or German.
The program aims to prepare entrepreneurs and managers capable of independently designing and launching innovative business models for the tourism and hospitality industry with the use of artificial intelligence.
