Visually-Impaired Version 
Representatives of ten countries took part in a large-scale celebration of the Unity Day of the People of Kazakhstan. The Spring Fest was held at the Themis Square of Maqsut Narikbayev University.
The spring festival became a symbol of renewal, cultural diversity, and international dialogue. The event was attended by the Ambassadors of Qatar, Turkmenistan, Thailand, and the European Union, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions from China, India, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Austria, the cultural center of South Korea, along with MNU students, faculty, and staff. One of the key highlights of the festival was its traditional elements reflecting the rich cultural heritage of participating countries.
A traditional Kazakh yurt, an altybakan swing, and an area for national games were set up at Themis Square. Guests also visited the international embassy fair, where traditional treats, clothing, and souvenirs were showcased. It is worth noting that Spring Fest was organized in partnership with international collaborators for the third time.
“This traditional event is further proof that MNU serves as a platform for international cooperation and initiatives. Thanks to the festival, students have the opportunity to explore the cultures and traditions of different countries — all within the university campus. Some of our international partners are participating for the first time, and we hope they will become part of this tradition, which will continue to grow,” emphasized MNU Chairman of the Board, Talgat Narikbayev.
During the festival, guests enjoyed performances by an orchestra of national instruments, the student theater, and university activists. In addition, the Embassies of Indonesia, Turkmenistan, India, and South Korea delighted attendees with musical and dance performances. Spring Fest left a lasting impression and once again highlighted the values of openness and unity within the academic community.
It should also be noted that this year, Kazakhstan is celebrating the Unity Day of the People of Kazakhstan for the 30th time.
