Student Environmental Initiative: “Birdhouses for Wintering Birds”
On 21 November, university students, together with Kamila Urazalievna Bekzhanova, a lecturer at the Department of English, organised an environmental initiative entitled “Birdhouses for Wintering Birds.” As part of the initiative, participants arranged for birdhouses to be installed on campus to help birds during the cold winter period.
The students and lecturer raised the necessary funds themselves and selected environmentally friendly materials for the birdhouses. The initiative provided students with an opportunity to put sustainability principles into practice and contribute to fostering a more responsible attitude towards the environment.
The activity demonstrated student and faculty engagement in practical environmental action and highlighted the importance of individual and collective responsibility for the environment.
