ADEL BAIGARAYEVA, AN ALUMNA, MASTER’S STUDENT AND STAFF MEMBER OF MAQSUT NARIKBAYEV UNIVERSITY IN KAZAKHSTAN, SHARED THE STORY OF HER ACADEMIC JOURNEY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW.

She highlighted the unique combination of education, public policy and justice law in her Master’s programme, which profoundly influenced her career.

Her studies helped her contribute to global debates, particularly on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

She now teaches and conducts research, applying the critical thinking and practical skills acquired during her time at the University of Glasgow.
