In order to implement the State Program for the development of physical сulture and sports, as well as the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, sports classes for volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and arena football are open free of charge and everyone is welcomed. All University athletes are members of the MNU EAGLES Club.

Ibragimov Dzhambulat, a 2nd year student of the MNU Law School, won the World Championship (Romania, Brasov) in Kyokushin kaikan karate karate, which took place from November 10 to 12, 2016. Dzhambulat won the title of champion, taking the first place in the weight up to 70 kg.
An active participant of the MNU sports club Laskali Asia, whose coach is Aldongarov A.U. and the master of sports Sadvakasova S.Z. She took 3rd place at the Asian Shinkiokushinkai Karate Championship. Athletes from more than 15 countries participated and representatives of Kazakhstan took the 1st team place. The 16th Asian Karate Championship Shinkiokushinkai was held in Busan (South Korea).
From February 27 to 28, 2016, the open Jiu-Jitsu tournament in Astana was held at the “Eurasia” sports complex, and the MNU team won the tournament.
Tenizbai Nurbek – a student of the Law(K)-202 group, took 1st place, won the title of tournament champion;
Toleubergen Temirlan, a student of the M–107 group, took 2nd place, becoming the silver medalist of the tournament;
Barmanbekov Arman, a student of the M—102 group, took 2nd place, becoming the silver medalist of the tournament in his weight category and took 3rd place in the absolute weight category.
