Teaching Professor / English Language Department

Qualification requirements:

• Having a PhD degree from a university with international accreditation and/or international recognition (preferably from a foreign university) in the field of subjects taught;

• English – C1, Kazakh/Russian – B2;

• Internationally recognized certifications (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TOEFL), IELTS 7.0 and higher;

• Professional and/or teaching or research experience of at least 5 years;

• Experience at a foreign university, membership in professional and research communities, or participation in educational and research projects (including international ones);

• Knowledge of teaching methods, application of modern technologies;

• Advanced training courses in the field of English language teaching;

• Basic computer skills, knowledge of ICT for learning English, experience with AI tools;

• Strong organisational skills, initiative, striving for professional development and participation in research, sociability, teamwork, critical and reflective pedagogical thinking;

• Preferred: experience in developing new courses, online courses, and academic publications.
