An Academic and Research Symposium was held at Maqsut Narikbayev University on October 2 as part of the Enactus World Championship. The symposium brought together academic leaders, international students, alumni, business executives, and government officials.
The aim of the symposium was to unite the academic community to discuss significant research and initiatives in the field of sustainable development.
During the championship, student teams from 33 countries presented their innovative projects focused on sustainable development through entrepreneurial leadership. These projects were carefully evaluated by an elite jury consisting of leading business figures, venture capitalists, and policymakers, emphasizing their relevance and potential.
The symposium featured panel discussions, plenary sessions, and interactive dialogues to explore Kazakhstan’s strategy for achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. Participants shared their views and approaches in an effort to find optimal solutions to achieve this ambitious goal.
