Huge Congratulations to our students for their remarkable success at the 2024 Economics Olympiad organized by NU ELS!
Out of 8 competing teams, including 4 from Maqsut Narikbayev University and 4 from Nazarbayev University, our exceptional team—Aizere Zhassekenova, Mukhamedzhan Sman, Nurzhigit Kairullayev, and Aruzhan Sypabek—proudly secured 2nd place!
The Olympiad, a key event of Economic Week at Nazarbayev University, challenged participants through three rigorous stages: a multiple-choice round, a problem-solving challenge, and a final case competition in collaboration with Dasco Consulting Group. This platform allowed our students to showcase their extensive knowledge, analytical skills, and dedication to the field of Economics while competing among the brightest minds.
We are immensely proud of our team’s achievements, which reflect their hard work, our university’s high standards, and the strength of our Economics program in nurturing future leaders in economics and finance.
