On February 10, Maqsut Narikbayev University and the Academy of Justice under the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of educational and research activities and library and information services. The document establishes a strategic partnership aimed at improving the quality of legal education and developing scientific research in the field of law.
Cooperation in the educational field includes training in relevant curricula, conducting training sessions, as well as taking advanced training courses for teaching staff. It is planned to exchange specialists for lectures, seminars and practical classes, as well as exchange experience in organizing and conducting the educational process.
Cooperation in the field of scientific research is aimed at planning, organizing, and conducting joint fundamental and applied scientific studies on pressing issues of legal science and practice. The parties have also agreed to establish joint authorship teams for the development and publication of methodological manuals and recommendations on legal practice and legislative regulation. As part of the collaboration, scientific and practical conferences, symposia, round tables, and forums will be held, along with joint publishing activities.
Cooperation in the field of library and information services includes the exchange of scientific and educational literature, access to electronic databases, the organization of joint exhibitions, as well as training events on information and library support for scientific research and the educational process.
The Memorandum provides opportunities for conducting joint scientific research, developing educational programs, and exchanging experiences between faculty members and legal experts. The partnership between MNU and the Academy of Justice is expected to be an important step toward improving the legal education system and training professionals for law enforcement practice.
The signing of the agreement reflects the commitment of both organizations to the qualitative development of educational programs, the training of competent lawyers, and the advancement of Kazakhstan’s legal system.
