Visually-impaired version 
Today Maqsut Narikbayev University hosted a lecture from the General Director of the Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Raushan Kazhybayeva. In her speech, she shared valuable knowledge and experience in the field of journalism. Students had the opportunity to openly ask questions and actively participate in the discussion.
In June 2023, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Maqsut Narikbayev University. During the year of co-operation with the TV and Radio Complex a number of significant projects were implemented.
In September, within the framework of the Memorandum, the first International School of Journalism in Kazakhstan was opened in co-operation. In addition, together with the President’s TRC, a lecture with French President Emmanuel Macron was organised at our university.
MNU also hosted a “Week with Al Jazeera” with the world’s leading media, during which students of the International School of Journalism participated in a series of training sessions from invited experts and a Memorandum of Co-operation with Al Jazeera was signed.
It is necessary to note that 20 educational grants for the International School of Journalism were allocated from the TV and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Charity Fund “Dara”.
