The first Tengrinews.kz scholarship holders at MNU International School of Journalism have been announced!
Anelya Kupbaeva, Diana Alshorazova and Zhaine Turarbek, 2nd and 3rd year students of the majors “Journalism: analytics and investigation” and “International journalism”, became the winners of the scholarship from Tengrinews.kz.
The competition for scholarships was announced in November 2023 within the framework of a memorandum of cooperation between Alash Media Group and Maqsut Narikbayev University.
The winners were chosen based upon a competition that considered academic performance, creativity and motivation.
In addition to the scholarship, the students will have the opportunity to undergo practical training in the projects of Alash Media Group. This is a unique opportunity to put the knowledge gained at university into practice and take their first steps in professional journalism.
MNU International School of Journalism, which opened in September 2023, has already united about 200 talented students. Partnership with the country’s leading media holdings opens up a wide range of prospects for our graduates.
