Participants noted the following challenges in developing and delivering courses on research methods:
- 1. Limited resources in the Kazakh language;
- 2. Lack of experience in teaching the courses. Faculty staff feel the need for support from the ministry or more experienced teachers;
- 3. No/limited/temporary access to databases;
- 4. Poor infrastructure (software, interactive whiteboards, TVs, laboratories);
- 5. Lack of interest from students;
- 6. Students face challenges in understanding the concepts and objectives of the study;
- 7. Large groups (20-30 students) consisting of different specialties;
