Professional Development Programme

Goal of PDP is to foster competencies aligned with current educational standards, strengthen faculty research skills, create clear career development paths for university staff, and enhance their work efficiency.

CORPORATE EVENTS

MNU welcomes new and current employees on a Welcome Day before the start of the academic year.

Motivation Day with guest speakers is organised in order to motivate employees.

We join together for a Strat Session to brainstorm on the company's strategic objectives.

We are actively developing a Professional Development Programme for the continuous improvement of our employees.

A New Year Corporate Team Building event is held to celebrate the New Year for all MNU employees and a New Year kids party with gifts is held for the youngest ones.

On March 14th we celebrate the birthday of MAQSUT NARIKBAYEV UNIVERSITY, its achievements, expressing gratitude to all those who worked for the prosperity of the University and the state.

We also celebrate the 8th of March, Nauryz meiramy, 7th of May.

Tea Party is held for team building with warm tea and outdoor games.

MAQSUT NARIKBAYEV UNIVERSITY Women's Mentoring Club

The purpose of the MNU Women's Mentoring Club is to support female MNU students and employees in developing leadership skills, increasing motivation, and building confidence in their abilities and potential.

Developing self-confidence:

self-respect; goal-setting and achievement; overcoming fears and challenges; acquiring new skills; participation in events and socialising; self-care; positive inner dialogue.

Increasing motivation:

positive thinking and self-confidence; incentives and rewards; self-motivation and inner commitment; goal-setting; commitment to positivity.

Strengthening confidence in personal abilities:

recognising and acknowledging personal achievements; continuous self-development; positive thinking and self-reflection; healthy lifestyle.

Objectives of the Women's Mentoring Club

providing a platform for female MNU students and employees to share their experiences and receive advice and mentoring from the more experienced women in order to successfully overcome challenges in life;

providing information and advice on stress management techniques, supporting the psychological health of female students and employees at MNU.

sharing experiences and networking with successful women professionals in various fields;

increased awareness of gender and equality issues;

supporting female students and employees of MNU in the implementation of female initiatives;

providing information and guidance to assist in identifying career goals.

helping female students and employees at MNU to develop leadership, communication and time management skills to enable them successfully fulfil their potential in various aspects of life;

helping and supporting female students and employees at MNU to take the first steps in implementing projects that promote the advancement of women's social status.

Events

We invite you to take part in a lecture on advocacy for women students’ rights and gender equality in universities. We will discuss important aspects of women’s rights advocacy, existing problems and possible ways to solve them 

The event will be supported by representatives of the E.Quality Initiative (NU University) and the Women Mentoring Club (MNU University). This is a unique opportunity to learn more about your rights, hear the experiences of other female students and to pose questions to the female experts 💜

We invite you to a guest lecture by Asseljan Sarbalina on ‘My experience of receiving offers from the top five universities in the world’

Asseljan will share her experience of receiving offers from five of the world’s leading universities. She is pursuing her PhD at the University of Oxford, is a clinical researcher in the National Health Service, a UN Women Fellow from the UK and founder of Orta Oxford. The lecture will cover overcoming challenges, building a strong application profile and practical tips for preparing documents.

In their free time, employees and students can relax and recharge in the Recreation area, as well as hold work meetings and presentations; there is also a Nap Room where they can take a nap.
